Smile - You're On Hear Rock City!

I Think This Was ONLY Released on Vinyl Years Ago...

It's a Mixed Bag Of Songs From PRE-QUEEN Bands!

Much of The Tracks Have Been Released & Bootlegged On Other Versions...

You Can CLICK The Covers For ALL The Details on Recording Info, Etc!

This Includes Brian May & Roger Taylor on The Main Tracks From SMILE!

Also, There's Some Freddie Mercury Background Vocals On Man From Manhattan...

Also, This Includes 1984 Another of Brian May's Attempts Before Queen...

Honestly, Not Much Of It Sounds Like Queen...

But, It's an Interesting Listen Regardless!

A Dead In The Life...

Here's Something That's Just Cool As All Hell!

Now, First Let Me Say I'm NOT a Dead-Head...Not Sure Why? And NOT For Lack Of Tryin' on infinitefool's part...He Really Tried To Get Me Way Into Them... It Just Never Took Hold!

BUT, I WILL Say This: I DO Like Them Much More Than I Did Before AND I Have All Kinds Of RESPECT For This Band (Think About It, To Be a Band This Long And To Have Such a Devoted Fan Base - DAMN!) BECAUSE Of Him...

Anyway, This Is The Grateful Dead And Associated Bands (Nope, Don't KNOW All The Dates And Venues, Etc. OR Which Is The Dead And Which Is Dead-Related Bands...) Doin' Their Versions Of Beatles Tunes!

Found This Layin' Around - So I Picked It Up After All These Years I've Had It (Really, I'd Forgotten I EVEN Had It...) And Gave It A Listen...

Sound Quality's Really Good! No Problem There!

Other Than That, It's Pretty Self-Explanatory...

You Can TRIP Out All DAY Long On This One!

From The COMMENTS Section:

infinite fool said...You don't need to stink of patchouli to like the Dead; you just need a sense of adventure and a wide, wide open mind.

Great post. Thanks for the kind words, but if people really want to explore the Grateful Dead they should skip my meager offerings and go here: http://butseriouslyfolks11.blogspot.com/

beerbelly918 said...Great disc...just a heads up track 4 and 7 on the 2nd disc are mislabeled...track 4 is "All too Much" and track 7 is "I am the Walrus"

NOTE: I've FIXED The Back Cover Artwork!

Woke Up This Mornin'...

Since Wolfmother Name-Checked Jim Morrison, Thought I'd Post This Awesome Doors Bootleg!

Notice It Includes Special Guest, Bluesman, Albert King!

It's a Pretty Good Soundin' SBD - BUT Whatever It Lacks in Any Sound Quality - The Performance Quality MORE Than Makes Up For It! (At Times It Sounds Just a Tad Over-Modulated...)

They Just Ooze With The Hard-Drivin' Beat Of The Blues On This One!

The First Five Songs Are Worth The Whole Deal (I've Never Heard Them Sound More Rockin' & Bloozy - Ever!)

Also, Notice The Selection Of Songs Here!

I'm Not a Huge Doors Fan, And I Dug The Hell Outta This One!
